Jane is an Innovation Consultant with over 30 years’ experience gained working in the information technology, services and government sectors. She is skilled in delivering customer outcomes using a range of creative and interactive approaches aimed at building consensus and helping people unlock their great ideas. Key specialisms include workshop design and facilitation, scenario planning, stakeholder engagement, strategy development, ideation, design thinking and prototyping.

Jane’s most recent role was Fujitsu Innovation Management Consultant at Fujitsu where as a founding member of the innovation team, she developed and embedded a new innovation toolset, processes and collateral. She has worked across Europe with customers from public and private sector. Jane is experienced in delivering design-led thinking workshops for customers resulting in ideas for prototyping. She recently led the innovation component and supported the successful £12m bid for a major government department.

For over 10 years Jane was a consultant facilitator for Department for Business Innovation and Skills, now BEIS, and provided consulting, planning and facilitation services for government and its stakeholders in the department’s Innovation Space.

Major Projects included working with senior Civil Servants and Mary Portas over a series of workshops to create the right mechanism for engaging with retailers to explore the issues for the high street of the future and develop new ideas to overcome the challenges. The recommendations were presented to the Prime Minister.

Jane also worked with multiple policy teams and major companies from a variety of sectors, including construction, automotive and engineering to jointly develop recommendations to deliver UK economic growth. Other projects included leading workshops with social enterprise leaders, government departments, business investors and academics to generate ways to maximise investment in the Social Enterprise Sector. These workshops culminated in a panel discussion with the then Secretary of State, Sir Vince Cable to encourage more social start-ups and employment.

Jane holds a B.Sc. Economics and Industrial Relations, the Diploma of Chartered Institute of Marketing, the Diploma of Market Research Society and a Diploma in Management from Henley Management College. She is also an NLP Master Practitioner and INLPTA Coaching Practitioner.
